My Crew

How did the Christian faith grow from only 12 disciples in Israel 2,000 years ago to over 2.2 billion people worldwide today?

Jesus taught His followers how to grow in their relationship with God and, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to invest in the lives of others. If Jesus had been a sailor, His disciples would have been his crew. Who’s your crew?

During My Crew: Part 1 you gathered a group of 3-5 people and agreed to be real and speak into each other’s lives. If you haven’t done that yet, it’s never too late! Learn more and get started today!

My Crew: Part 2

As a church we’re moving into the exciting next step - My Crew: Part 2! In Part 2 you’ll be challenged to ask yourself two important questions:

  1. Whose journey am I investing in regularly?
  2. Who is investing in my life?

These people  are essential in helping you grow deeper relationships with Jesus and one another - which is the focus of our Ignite Faith theme this year!

Gordon MacDonald, author, pastor, Chancellor at Denver Seminary, and editor-at-large for Leadership Journal teaches on the importance of investing in the lives of others. Watch the entire video here.

Once it's complete, you might envision My Crew as a crosswith your peers along the horizontal line, and the vertical line with your wise leader at the top and the person you are investing into at the bottom.
